Thanks for your answer regarding the contacts.  I have another question.

I have an Anschutz 1911 prone rifle, which I would like to test for
different types of ammunition,  to determine the ammunition it shoots
the best.  What would be the preferred method between the following two
options: (1) Clamping the rifle (with the stock); or (2) Clamping only
the barrel.

[Editor - Option #1 to be more practical. #2 may give you theoretically
better results since you eliminate a variable, but you can't duplicate the
harmonics produced from the barrel/stock interaction. You would get
different groups depending upon where on the barrel you clamped. Don't
forget there are lot differences as well.]

I am a new subscriber and enjoy your publication.  Thanks for all the hard
work in putting it together.

I am interested in whether or not there are any periodicals devoted
specifically
to air pistol or rifle target shooting.  The major gun publications rarely
devote any
press to our specific interest.

[Editor - there are a few airgun mags but they aren't oriented toward the
target shooting we do. They cover the magnum airguns, hunting, field
target, etc. If you wish info, I'd search the web for Airgun Express and
The Airgun Letter. http://members.iquest.net/~wca/airgun_links.html has
links to many airgun sources on the web. The NASSA has a quarterly and they
do lots of air pistol shooting (geared toward juniors) - see my Postals
section for their URL. Other than that, the UIT Journal would be the only
other thing I know of, which covers all target shooting.]
