I'm looking for a freeware software package that can be used for score
recording and reporting (i.e., a relational database with generic reports)
for various rifle and pistol events. It must run under Windows 3.1. It
would be helpful if it worked for either NCAA or USAS/ISSF or NRA
tie-breaking rules. I know there is a DOS-based one used by several NCAA
teams that does at least rifle that I could convert to Windows. It would be
nice to not have to waste my time though.

Hi Mr Ray

A bought a new Anschutz 2002 with air cylinder. This is a great rifle!

A also bought a pump to manually fill the cylinders and do some
gymnastics...

I want to now if the manual process can produce too much humidity into the
air cylinder and affect precision or damage de rifle or create rust in a
short period of time.

Atlanta.]

I have a question for you, young woman wants to buy a rifle. With the UIT
rule changes can she shoot a 1913 or 2013? Both seem to fit the rules
if you don't add any weight. But, would the extra weight be detrimental
to her development? We tried a 1913 and it fit her, or she fit it.
Now, should she get a standard rifle, or a new 1912 or 2012, or would a
1913 a choice. My personal opinion is that she should stay away from
the 13's and go to the 07 or 12's.

Stats,
She is about:
	5ft 7 tall
	125 lbs.
	18 years old
shoots just under 1000 with a Marlin, a year ago had her switch
from right to left handed so she learning over, and that has slowed her
down a bit.

With regard to breaking in a new .22rf match rifle I have heard this said by
my coach who is an Olympic medalist. First shoot 1 shot and clean the
barrel. Do this five times. Then shoot 2 shots and clean the barrel. Do this
five times. Continue this pattern until you get to 10 shots. Then work up 10
shots, 20, 30, 40, etc until the rifle is truly broken in when you are
shooting 200 shots or more between cleanings (enough to get a 3x40 and
sighters in).

I am interested in upgrading my rimfire rifle (I shoot air rifle, 3p and
prone UIT) from an 1813 to a Walther KKPower Match free rifle. Does anyone
know what they are really like? My coaches have reservations over their
barrels, they think they are inferior to Anschutz barrels but as I use an
LGM2 air rifle I would like some continuity between disciplines, especially
standing.

Many thanks for your mailing list and for the work you put into it.

Best Wishes
