In this issue: In pursuit of gold Shooting multi bull targets in P & K ************************************* Hello, Too bad about the newsgroup, I'm disappointed. I was wondering where all this is happening? Do you and your team shoot any postals? My name is Henry Gerow, I just lost my National Prone Title Aug. 16, I want it back. My father just got a new heart, Sept. 6, I need it back. My PB's are Prone 595 1183 2361 Air 576 1134 3x40 1114 2227 Where I live I'm the only one who can make the national team. Indoors I shoot usally 10-15 higher, Outdoors its a joke. Not to brag but I need more higher level of competion. I currently just shoot Prone, a litle air for a diversion, I want to start up in 3x40 just need a tripod. My 6 month old thune is still really stiff! Which is helping my standing. I have the Pan-Am Games here in Winnipeg in 1999, That's MY GOLD! Could you offer any help in my pursuit of this goal? Thanks. Lots of Tens, Henry Gerow *********************************** Thanks for the response to my question on laminated stocks. I have a new question. In collegiate competition, we shoot on the 10 bull (+2 sighters) targets. In the past, we have been taught to use breathing to accomplish changing the height from bull to bull in prone and kneeling. I've come to learn this may not be the best technique, that you should move your elbow in and out slightly to alter the natural POA, thus keeping your lungs well balanced. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. Do people do this? Do you use something else? I will be on vacation at the nationals until Sunday. Will post all replies when I return. BTW, I added a new link to my page to the same site that did the Milan World Cup. They have added stuff from the Olympics where you can see the placement of EACH SHOT the competitors made (except for the finals). Cool. ******************************************* End of UIT Mailing List #4 Michael Ray - Systems Engineer Rose-Hulman Inst. of Tech.
